Section 823 of Title 16, Division 8 of the California Code of Regulations -Definitions: Bona Fide Employee; Direct Supervision and Control

On June 2, 2022, the Office of Administrative Law (OAL) approved CSLB's “definitions: bona fide employee; direct supervision and control” regulations as changes without regulatory effect pursuant to the requirements of the California Code of Regulations, title 1, section 100 and filed the action with the Secretary of State. This regulatory action became effective on June 2, 2022.

Sections 832 and 832.49 of Title 16, Division 8 of the California Code of Regulations - Specialty Contractors Classified and Class C-49 – Tree and Palm Contractor

On March 30, 2022, the Office of Administrative Law (OAL) approved CSLB's C-49 – Tree and Palm contractor classification regulations and filed the action with the Secretary of State. This regulatory action becomes effective on January 1, 2024.
