Online License Renewal (Single Qualifier Only)

Welcome to CSLB’s Online Renewal eService.

This eService may be used to renew an active or inactive license in real time. The online renewal portal may only be used for companies that have a single qualifier.

If there is more than one qualifier listed on the license, you must still submit a paper renewal form. The paper form was mailed to your address of record two months before the renewal date. If you did not receive it, please call (800) 321-CSLB (2752) or email Renewals@cslb.ca.gov and request another copy.

You cannot renew online if:

  • The license is inactive and you want to reactivate in order to conduct construction business. This option is not currently available online. Please call 1-800-321-2752 or email Renewals@cslb.ca.gov to request a reactivation form or proceed to the forms request page to order an Application to Reactivate Inactive Contractor’s License.
  • The license has classifications attached to multiple qualifiers. These renewals need to be mailed or hand delivered with the payment to CSLB’s Sacramento office (see above).
  • Payments at CSLB’s Sacramento office may be made by cash (exact change only), check, or money order.

The system will not be available from Sunday 8:00 PM to Monday 6:00 AM
